"We served about 8 million passengers"

According to the data of the 11th month of 2025, the airports of Georgia served a record number of passengers.  According to the statement of the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Tamar Yoseliani, an unprecedentedly high growth was recorded both in terms of passenger flow and air flights, as well as in international air cargo shipments.

"We are developing both international and local airports with a consistent policy. Accordingly, we are increasing their efficiency, introducing new services, and this is reflected in the results. According to the data of the 11th month of 2025, the airports of Georgia served 8 million passengers, which is a record figure. As for the number of flights, here too we have an unprecedentedly high figure - an 18% increase," Tamar noted. Yoselian.

The deputy minister also drew attention to international air cargo shipments, where an increase of about 50% was recorded. As Tamar Ioseliani pointed out, the data for the 11th month of 2025 clearly reflect the number of international visitors to Georgia.
