A record number of visitors to the protected areas was recorded

According to the data of the 11th month of 2025, a record 1,214,653 visitors were recorded in the protected areas of Georgia. The number of visitors has increased by 12% compared to last year.

Most visitors visited Prometheus Cave, Martvili Canyon, Sataflia, Mtirala National Park and Tsalki Canyon.

Also, the number of foreign visitors has increased, which once again emphasizes the growing interest in Georgia's natural potential on an international scale.

The Agency of Protected Areas continues to work in the direction of creating diverse impressions for visitors to protected areas. In various protected areas, during the year, the works of arranging eco-tourism infrastructure were underway, and in the near future it is planned to open the eco-tourism space of Tbilisi National Park.
