In 2025, Georgian wine was popularized in 21 countries

In order to increase the export potential of Georgian wine and diversify markets, with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, in 2025, Georgian wine was presented in 21 countries of the world at 58 exhibitions-festivals and 322 tasting-seminars. The list of countries looks like this – USA, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, China, Japan, Slovenia, UK, Denmark, South Korea, Norway, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Brazil, Armenia, Canada, Uzbekistan.

Last year, 18 wine tours were held in Georgia with the participation of foreign professionals. The groups included wine masters, experts, sommeliers, importers, representatives of the HORECA sector and the media, who are highly interested in finding new partners in Georgia, which is important in terms of increasing the awareness and export of Georgian wine. Wine tours from Germany, Japan, China, Poland, Great Britain , from Sweden, Finland and the United States of America. 

Within the framework of the state program for the promotion of Georgian wine production in the local market, a total of 32 events were held in Georgia, including 30 exhibitions-festivals and 2 competitions; The purpose of holding the mentioned events is to promote the promotion of Georgian wine, the potential of wine tourism and the growth of wine consumer culture.

Within the state program of co-financing of marketing expenses, in 2025, 9 wine companies received a total of 692,969 GEL as co-financing.  According to the terms of the program, the mentioned companies participated in international exhibitions and festivals, in different formats of Georgian wine presentation events, and as a result of the mentioned marketing activities, they increased the volume of exports to the markets of America, Europe and Asia. Co-financing of marketing expenses is received only by those companies that export to different countries of the world (except CIS and SUAM countries). Eknasi), they are implemented in priority markets.    

The above-mentioned activities were carried out within the framework of the "Georgian Wine Promotion State Program", the budget of which in 2025 was 17.4 million GEL.
