The number of visitors from Russia has increased

According to Galt & Taggart's review, the number of international visitors in the fourth quarter of 2025 was 1.5 million, which represents an increase of 8.3% year-on-year.

The main source of growth was tourists, whose number increased by 10.5% to 1.2 million, while the number of one-day visitors increased slightly by 0.5% to 0.3 million.

The increase in international visitors was mainly due to sharp increases in flows from Israel, Russia, the European Union and China.

Revenues from tourism in the fourth quarter of last year amounted to 1.1 billion US dollars, which is a 9.2% increase compared to the previous year. The main source of growth was Israel (+37% y/y), followed by EU countries (+26.6% y/y), neighboring countries except Russia (+17.8% y/y) and Asian markets.

According to the research of the investment company, it is worth noting that despite the increase in visitors from Russia, revenues decreased by 23.7% annually, and despite the decrease in visitors from Iran, revenues remained practically unchanged (-1.2% y/y). In total, in 2025, revenues from tourism increased by 6% annually and amounted to 4.7 billion USD.
