According to the information of Nino Mghebrishvili, the project manager of the wine cellar "Veleula" located in the village of Dzirageul, Ambrolauri district in Racha, currently, the tourist facility does not have the resources to make organic wine, because different technologies are needed for the production of the mentioned destination.

As the project manager of the winery points out to "Business Partner", various festivals are held throughout the country in the direction of organic wine, which increases its popularity among consumers every year.

"We don't have the resources to make organic wine, but it is a very important direction that Georgia can present on the international stage. As you know, in the production of organic wine, a lot of experience, hard work, and different technology are needed. I must admit that when a company develops in this direction, it puts a lot of effort into vineyard maintenance. In particular, grape care, wine production is specific in such a direction, and organic wine has its own "characteristics". You say, compared to labor, the raw material received is small. 

As for the general trend, the demand for organic wine is constantly growing, consumers are becoming more and more interested every year, however, since we do not produce it, it will be difficult for me to express the demand in percentage figures", says the representative of "Veleula".

Nino Mgebrishvili also talks about the grapes obtained in Racha and emphasizes that the company has a good harvest this year. According to him, the wine cellar produces about 10,000 bottles of wine per year. 

"This year, in general, we had a very good vintage. In addition, we often conduct information campaigns to interest consumers, we also often have wine "events". In general, Racha has become a very interesting place for both Georgians and foreigners", says the representative of the winery.

For information, the wine cellar "Veleula" is located in Racha, in the village of Dzirageul, Ambrolauri district, and in the local market from 2022 the opera Reb. 

The company has its own vineyards in Dzirageuli and Saketsi, the area of ​​which covers 2 hectares. "Veleula" produces local wine Khvanchkara. In addition, the tourist facility has "Alexandrouli", "Dzelshavi", "Tetra", "Saferavi" and "Tsolikauri".
