A new cycling route of more than a thousand km

The new 1,136-kilometer cross-border bicycle route EuroVelo 18 will become one of the most scenic long-distance bicycle routes in Europe, the initiator of the project, the European Cyclists' Federation, said.

EuroVelo 18 is a joint initiative of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Serbia, through which the bicycle route will pass. It will start from the headwaters of the Sava River and end where it flows into the Danube.

The route will also connect European capitals – Ljubljana, Zagreb and Belgrade. It will be an environmentally friendly way for sports enthusiasts to explore the nature and cultural heritage of the region.
