Georgia is participating in IBTM World 2025

  The Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia is participating in one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in the world, IBTM World 2025, in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Within the framework of IBTM World 2025, in order to plan large tourist events and conduct marketing campaigns in Georgia, the head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, Maya Omiadze, held meetings with MICE managers of international marketing companies, airlines and large events.

The possibilities of holding large events in Georgia were discussed with representatives of companies from the European Union, Great Britain, the Middle East, India and China. The conversation touched on the promotion of the business tourism direction in Georgia, the possibilities of planning presentations and "roadshows" in the target countries. 

Consul General of Georgia in Barcelona Beka Zarandia attended the exhibition.

"We met with large companies that They also hold business events all over the world. This exhibition is focused on the development of business tourism. As you know, we are running campaigns, within the framework of which we are trying to bring more business travelers to Georgia and promote the positioning of Georgia in the whole world", said Maya Omiadze.

Together with the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, 9 bureau member companies are participating in IBTM World 2025. The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara is also represented at the exhibition.

"Barcelona business tourism exhibition is one of the most influential exhibitions in Europe. Participation here is very important, both directly for the country and for individual companies operating in the field of tourism. Interest in Georgia has increased compared to previous years, which will definitely bring results in the near future," said Visit Georgia representative Lexo Mamulashvili.

More than 2,500 organizations from 150 countries are represented at IBTM World 2025, and the number of visitors to the exhibition exceeds 12,000.
