Bratislava - new direction from Kutaisi airport

From January 12, 2026, a new European destination will be added to Kutaisi International Airport. Passengers will have the opportunity to travel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, by direct flight.

Europe's most environmentally sustainable airline Wizz Air operates on the Bratislava-Kutaisi-Bratislava route four times a week:

It will be carried out on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flights will be performed with a modern Airbus A321neo aircraft.

The addition of the new direction was made possible as a result of intensive and successful negotiations between the Union of Georgian Airports and Wizz Air.

It is already possible to buy air tickets on the official website of the airline.

Bratislava is one of the important hubs in Central Europe, located at the shortest distance to Vienna and Budapest.

Because of this, the new destination can create additional cultural and touristic opportunities for Georgian travelers — both for leisure and multifaceted European discoveries.

Wizz Air st It operates from Utaisi International Airport to 23 destinations in 12 countries.

Among them, added in the summer in the direction of Lyon.

And from December 2, the airline starts direct flights to Venice.

In 2012, since the beginning of operation on the Georgian market, Wizz Air has transported almost 9 million passengers from Georgia and vice versa.
