Georgian wine at the Austin Food & Wine Festival

With the support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the American marketing company Colangelo & Partners, the agency's contractor, the presentation of Georgian wine was held in Austin, Texas, USA at the Austin Food & Wine Festival.

One of the partners of the festival was the National Wine Agency.

23 wines from different Georgian wine producing companies were presented at the festival. Within the framework of the festival, a tasting-master class was also held under the title: "Georgian Wine for Everyday Drinking."

The Austin Food & Wine Festival, which has been held annually since 2012, is traditionally attended by chefs, sommeliers, wine professionals, representatives of the HORECA sector and consumers of restaurants with a Michelin star, which is especially important for increasing the awareness and demand for Georgian wine among consumers in the strategic US market. 

The marketing campaign of Georgian wine in the USA was supported by the Wine National The whole agency works in cooperation with the largest American marketing company "Colangelo & Partners". As part of the campaign, tasting-seminars are held for wine professionals and representatives of the wine trade in different cities of the USA; Georgian wine is presented at international exhibitions; Wine tours in Georgia are organized for media, sommeliers and sales representatives, which contributes to better familiarization and promotion of Georgian wine in the American market.

With the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, in the fall of this year, Georgian wine was presented in the United States of America at the following events: at the large-scale Georgian wine tasting "Wines of Georgia Grand Tasting" (Los Angeles), at the international wine festival "Karakterre" (New York), at the international wine exhibition "Orange Glou Fair" (New York), at the first Georgian amber wine festival "Amber Georgia" (New York), International Exhibition of Natural Wines "RAW Wine NYC" (New York), "San Diego Food + Wine Festival" (San Diego). Also in autumn, two wine tours were held in Georgia for American wine professionals.
