They got acquainted with the tourism potential of Georgia in Scandinavian countries

In order to increase high-spending tourist flows from European countries to Georgia, the National Tourism Administration of Georgia is conducting a marketing campaign in the Scandinavian countries.

With the organization of the National Tourism Administration, the representatives of the Georgian private sector took part in roadshows in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Presentations about the tourism potential of Georgia were held in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.

Within the B2B format, negotiations were held between representatives of the Georgian private sector and local tourism companies. The issues of bringing tourist groups from Scandinavian countries to Georgia and organizing joint tours were discussed at the meetings. 

In parallel with the meetings with the tourist companies, the representatives of the Scandinavian media got acquainted with the tourist direction of Georgia at the presentations. Norwegian and Swedish travel publications will prepare articles about Georgia.
